Welcome

Scam warning!

You may receive an email from fraudulent agencies, such as Expo Hotel Services, offering the booking of hotel accommodation for the 9th Beneficial Microbes Conference. This is a scam. We have no agreement with any agency. The hotel booking has to be arranged by the participants themselves (see under ‘Venue & hotel’).

It's with great pleasure that we announce the upcoming 9th Beneficial Microbes Conference, to be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on 14-16 November 2022.

The 9th Beneficial Microbes Conference will provide an overview of the latest scientific results and future developments related to pre-/pro-/postbiotics and their importance to human and animal health across the lifespan. Topics include but are not limited to pre-/pro-/postbiotics and the gut microbiome, the gut-brain axis, the microbiome beyond the gut, and more.

The 9th Beneficial Microbes Conference features:

  • Plenary lectures & parallel sessions
Would you like to give an oral presentation? The Advisory Board invites you to share your scientific contribution.
  • Poster sessions
The Advisory Board particularly encourages students to submit abstracts for poster presentations. A few abstracts will be selected for 6-minute talks (speed presentations).
  • A commercial exhibition, parallel to the conference, presenting products and services related to pre-/pro-/postbiotics.
The 9th Beneficial Microbes Conference promotes the creation of new initiatives for the customised application of pre-/pro-/postbiotics in food, feed, and healthcare in a networking environment. The conference topics are intended to meet the needs of researchers, food, feed, and healthcare professionals who want to be updated on the advances in pre-/pro-/postbiotics research. Interested attendees include basic and translational research scientists, nutritionists, dietitians, physicians, students, policy makers, and key opinion leaders with an interest in pre-/pro-/postbiotics.

Looking forward to meeting you again in Amsterdam!
